Saturday at the Grand Mayfair

Experience a full day painting retreat with master fusionartist, Rassouli.

Drive two hours to the Historic Mayfair Hotel in Los Angeles. Drag your things from the parking lot. Find a space. Set up your easel. Get out your paints. Mill around talking to the other artists.

Then, sit in a circle and wait for inspiration from Rassouli.
‘Discuss life and art, the impossibility of mistakes, how you need to destroy before you can create, the comparison of painting to making love (you’re finished when you’re satisfied!), cosmic unity and Rumi.

Go to your easel. Let your body and brush dance to the inspirational music selected by Rassouli just for this day.

Get in the zone and paint from your heart. Mix oranges and blues and yellows in a joyful rhythm. Sense the silent connection of the group.
